And there go another 2 month without blogging

I managed to work my a** off during July and almost made it to finish my coursework in time. I missed two assignments for Geology and 1/3 of the English ones.
When I had last written to the lady at LSU I understood her reply that she’ll send the midterm exams although I hadn’t submitted all assignments and that I should send them in asap. Of course, I had misunderstood, but I didn’t find out until almost three weeks later.
So I wrote to Mrs. Rodriguez to inform her of my upcoming exams, no reply, after a few days I got nervous and finally went there to see if they were on vacation or what had happened. Also at the same time, the last assignments I had sent in never showed up in my rooster, although I had received the confirmation that they’d gotten them.
When I went to the Americo-Dominicano, Mrs. Rodriguez told me she had neither gotten my email not anything from LSU. She also told me that there would be no problem in taking the exams (of course, I pay them good money for it) and I should just let her know when.
Now, back home I wrote to LSU and got promptly a reply that I had been dropped from the courses and that I had to reenroll -at full cost- if I wanted to finish them. Bummer.
I waited a few days to see how I could avoid putting the charge on the credit card, as I thought we might need the money for the new apartment, but in the end I just reenrolled last Wednesday. Now I have to wait for a notice from the instructors which lessons will be rolled over and what I’ll have still to do in order to take the exams.
Now the two courses will still be cheaper than Athabasca, but the the tag wasn’t nice.
