Getting started… really!

Finally I managed to get things going!
I wrote to the program director and he got things rolling. I’m taking Geology of the Solar System, Intro to Geochemistry, and Planetary Volcanism this term and next term it will be the remainder of Geology of the Solar System, Fundamentals of Mineralogy, and one more which is not decided yet.
I got credit for my Physical Geology class from LSU and hopefully will also get credit for the Historical Geology.
My CDs are -of course- not yet here, they were only sent last week so I asked the person in charge of the CDs if it would be possible to download at least the first month from somewhere and in the end he uploaded a bunch of files to my ftp. So now I got the first month of GSS and GCh, but only the first week of PV. If the CDs aren’t here next week I’ll need another file transfer but this is still a few days ago.
I also got confirmation that the tutor for Historical Geology (LSU) changed and it’s the same as for Physical Geology. I’m very happy about that, it takes some of the stress out of the course. I also had a very nice email exchange with her explaining her about my new program at BBK.
Today I finally got around to make some schedules for all my work until x-mas and tentatively for the first few months of next year. I’m going to be quite busy.
I also started to work for one of Bunny’s clients, DTP proofing. Easy work well paid, I made some good money and I hope there will be more work. It is good to be able to pay at least my books and some of the tuition myself.
