Getting Things Done

I’m about to embark on some new territory in personal organization: GTD.
Not being really great in reading -and following- self-help and self-improvement books, this promises to be an interesting experiment.
I had previously looked into it, but never very deep, mostly because I didn’t like any of the apps available to support this effort. Now Omni is developing a new app, called OmniFocus which appears from some screenshots and screencasts to be rather intuitive and flexible while not necessarily forcing the user to strictly adhere to GTD.

I don’t know anything about the Mac apps for GTD, but it’s a great system. I found that the software can be fun, but it also distracts from the simplicity of GTD. You could do it with just pen and paper, or simple text files. After using PalmDesktop and GoogleDocs for it, I’ve now settled on Zirrus for the time being: http://www.zirr.us. Good luck and let us know how it’s going.
