One word: busyI sent the final lessons for Geology 1003 and now I’m waiting for my exams to arrive.At the same time my second year at bbk has started. This years subjects: Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology, Geophysics, Planetary Volcanism, Structural Geology, and -maybe- Advanced Topics in Planetary Sciences.

I’m done with my exams for BBK!They hopefully left for London on Friday afternoon, but the results wont be out until second half of July >(For summer I have to finish up two LSU courses and some other stuff. I also got a pile of books to read.

Today I wrote my first exam, Astrobiology and it wasn’t too bad.Tomorrow it’s Geochemistry which will be a bit harder I guess.

My first exam is on Thursday, Astrobiology, the second one on Friday, Intro to Geochemistry. I did chicken out from Planetary Volcanism, I’ll have to do it next year.A slight sense of panic is creeping up but so far I’m ok.

Went on a small book shopping spree yesterday, three books 150 USD. I’ll probably need two more now, one of them is totally unavailable, and one more in a few months.

I obviously got accepted into Birkbeck’s Earth and Planetary Sciences Program since I got an email today to log into the Student Portal and verify my information and pay!

I finally wrote my Algebra Exam last Thursday, now I have to wait some 2-4 weeks to get the result. I felt quite good, no too bad problems in the beginning. And even though there were a few interruptions, besides the general mess the ICDA knows to produce, I did get done with all questions [...]
