I’m hoping for a B.The Math 15500 midterm is scheduled for Friday, but my Geology 1003 final hasn’t yet arrived! I’ll have to see with LSU if the 30 days limit to take the exams count from the end of course or the day the proctor receives the exams.

One word: busyI sent the final lessons for Geology 1003 and now I’m waiting for my exams to arrive.At the same time my second year at bbk has started. This years subjects: Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology, Geophysics, Planetary Volcanism, Structural Geology, and -maybe- Advanced Topics in Planetary Sciences.

I’m done with my exams for BBK!They hopefully left for London on Friday afternoon, but the results wont be out until second half of July >(For summer I have to finish up two LSU courses and some other stuff. I also got a pile of books to read.

Finally I managed to get things going!
I wrote to the program director and he got things rolling. I’m taking Geology of the Solar System, Intro to Geochemistry, and Planetary Volcanism this term and next term it will be the remainder of Geology of the Solar System, Fundamentals of Mineralogy, and one more which is not [...]
Tomorrow I’ll submit my application for BBK. Need to keep my fingers crossed.

It seems that I was expecting too much from my time home alone. I did get some things done so far, but sadly much less than planned. Also the Calculus part seems to go much faster than Geology because I have again to write answers to questions which take me much too long. I just [...]

Stephan is off to Belgium for three weeks and I’m in for three weeks of hard work. I have to seize the opportunity and get as much as possible done on my two courses so I might have a chance to finish at least the Geology course before end of September.

My course materials for Geology 1003 (Historical Geology) and Math 1550 (Calculus and Analytic Geometry I) arrived yesterday. I made my plans, now I just need to stick to them.
