ecto vs. UTW

I finally seem to have found a working solution to my problem with ecto not being able to set the UTW tags in WordPress: Brett from Circle Six Design has developed a plug-in that bridges the gap.Since the inner workings of WP have hanged a lot since 2.2, the last UTW-RPC didn’t work anymore and a new version is in beta test. So far it’s working fine for me!

UTW

After I imported my two old blogs into this, I went though almost all posts putting them in the right categories (why is there no option when importing posts to add them to a specific category?) and made a few sub categories.Once I had done this and wanted to ad some new posts I figured out a nested system of categories not to be very practical and decided to use Ultimate Tag Warrior 3 for tags and a Tag Cloud Widget for my sidebar.
